Youth Forums
We are organizing three Youth Forums across the week in Taipei. We would love to hear from those dance organizations that are bringing youth as to suggested topics for these forums. What are the topics that youth would like to discuss with their peers from around the world? Are there universal themes that resonate around the world in terms of dance and youth? Are there important questions that they would like to ask each other? One of our forums will be led by Ruth Osborne from Australia’s Quantum Leap 2 Centre for Youth Dance. Our other two forums are still in development. For these forums we would really like to focus on the voice of our youth delegates. If you have youth whom you think might be excellent members of a youth panel or ideas for our youth forums please send information ASAP directly to Marc Richard (Canadian daCi National Representative) at marcrichardo@hotmail.com
Curriculum in Motion
Based on our discussion regarding dance curricula which started at the Conference 2009 in Jamaica, we would like to continue the discussion at the Taipei Conference. Our National Representative for Germany Cornelia Baumgart has asked that each country representative fill in the attached form. If you are a member in a country without a national representative we ask that you fill out the form and send in to Cornelia by the 15th of June 2012.
